Module 1: ISCC CFC – The General Approach
- Gain a clear understanding of the ISCC Carbon Footprint Certification (CFC) approach and its guiding principles.
- Explore the objectives and scope of ISCC CFC to see how it supports sustainable development goals.
Module 2: Product Carbon Footprint and Life Cycle Assessment
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of how to evaluate and reduce the environmental impact of products through Life Cycle Impact Assessment.
- Learn the fundamentals of Life Cycle Inventory and its role in environmental analysis.
- Develop the ability to interpret the results effectively.
Module 3: ISCC CFC Certification Approach
- Get a deeper understanding of the certification process.
- Learn how different entities along the supply chain can become ISCC CFC certified, e.g., traders, processing units and downstream entities.
- Gain an overview of relevant ISCC System Documents and supporting resources.
Module 4: Mitigation Technologies
- Understand how carbon capture and storage (CCS) is conducted.
- Develop the ability to effectively leverage carbon capture technologies.
- Learn about the production of silicon metal using renewable energy sources.
- Learn how to combine ISCC PLUS certification with ISCC Carbon Footprint Certification.

Auditor Qualification
Before conducting ISCC CFC audits, all auditors must must meet the following qualification criteria:
- Full attendance and active participation in the ISCC CFC Training
- Passing the ISCC Auditor Online Test
Please note that attendance is monitored, and completion of all training elements is mandatory. Upon successful completion, the auditor qualification is valid for three years from the date of passing the ISCC Auditor Online Test.
General Information
- Our training courses are available as interactive live online formats, on-demand modules or both, as blended learning concepts. They are held in English and scheduled according to Central European (Summer) Time unless otherwise stated.
- Our training courses are open to everyone.
- You will receive all course materials via a downloadable link for the live online formats
- To make the most out of your participation, please ensure you use a laptop with a stable internet connection.
- One week after the course, you will have access to the group work solutions.
- To receive a Proof of Attendance, you must complete the full course and actively engage in the group work sessions.
- Participation is monitored throughout the course. Missed parts will be deducted from the Proof of Attendance.
