What You Will Learn

1. Basics of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Methodologies and Farm-Level Calculations

  • Understand the principles of farm-level emission calculation and verification.
  • Learn how to calculate emissions from land-use change and soil carbon accumulation.

2. GHG Calculations for Processing Units (ANNEX V), Upstream and Downstream Transport Emissions

  • Learn about upstream and downstream transport emissions calculations according to ISCC 205 methodology.
  • Get an overview on emissions calculation of processing units following the ANNEX V methodology.

3. GHG Calculations for Co-Digested Biomass Fuels According to Annex VI 

  • Learn about GHG calculation methods, e.g., co-digestion of substrates in a digestor following the ANNEX VI methodology.
  • Build expertise in forwarding emissions in a supply chain using Sustainability Declarations and Proofs of Sustainability.

  • Our training courses are available as interactive live online formats, on-demand modules or both, as blended learning concepts. They are held in English and scheduled according to Central European (Summer) Time unless otherwise stated.
  • Our training courses are open to everyone.
  • You will receive all course materials via a downloadable link for the live online formats
  • To make the most out of your participation, please ensure you use a laptop with a stable internet connection.
  • One week after the course, you will have access to the group work solutions.
  • To receive a Proof of Attendance, you must complete the full course and actively engage in the group work sessions.
  • Participation is monitored throughout the course. Missed parts will be deducted from the Proof of Attendance.
