ISCC is committed to supporting the shift towards the circular economy and bioeconomy. The ISCC Technical Stakeholder Committee – Circular Economy and Bioeconomy provides a platform for stakeholders to engage in a constructive dialogue on the sustainability certification of recycled and bio-based materials.

9th Technical Stakeholder Meeting

The 9^th ISCC Technical Stakeholder Meeting on Circular Economy and Bioeconomy is concluded, and we can say it was a great success! The live online meeting was hosted by the ISCC Association and was attended by over 245 participants.

Attendees participated in six key presentations which featured insights not only from ISCC and our sister company MEO Carbon Solutions, but also from the European Commission covering the latest updates on the Green Claims Directive and Single-Use Plastics Directive. The American Chemistry Council contributed an essential perspective on legislation, regulations, and developments in the American market. We also explored the applicability of ISCC PLUS in products and packaging and its role in promoting circularity and sustainability.

We are glad to welcome our newly elected Co-chairs Esther Garcia (Mondelez International) & Jason Pierce (Eastman) for their new role, looking forward to their contributions. Thanks to our guests and speakers for making this meeting successful!
