Thank you to everyone who joined the ISCC Regional Stakeholder Meeting – Latin America. The event was a resounding success. A special thanks goes to our committee chairs and all the presenters who delivered 13 presentations, sharing their expertise on the challenges and opportunities in the Latin American region.
The event began with a presentation on Mexico’s sustainable vision, followed by updates on ISCC developments and collaboration from regional stakeholders. The meeting consisted of two main blocks: market developments and regulatory updates, as well as ISCC PLUS concerning the circular economy and bioeconomy.
Discussions centred on innovative feedstocks, such as macauba, Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), and trends in the hydrogen market. Other topics included regulatory challenges in plastics within the food and beverage sector, as well as perspectives on CORSIA in the Latin American region. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A and feedback session, reflecting the active engagement of our stakeholders.
We look forward to continuing the collaboration to drive sustainability in Latin America. If you were unable to attend, don’t worry! In case you missed it, the presentation and recap are available here.
